Average Size: 16 " Indian Ringneck Parakeets are growing in popularity due to there elegant and beautiful appearance. They are very intelligent and great talkers as well as having a good ability to mimic. They are not know as being affectionate however they make it up with their stable temperment, personalities and entertainment. They can survive with little attention during busy times, but keep in mind they also require attention on a normal basis to help maintain their tameness. They also are well
They are avid chewers so it is very important to provide a lot of toys to chew and play on to prevent destructive behavior. They are also sexually dimorphic by the age of 2-3 years.
Indian Ringnecks form very strong bonds to their owners and can become territorial. Females are usually more aggressive in this manner as they commonly will try to chase off others around their owner.
